Glembring Engineering Firm Ltd. started 50 years ago, by designing and manufacturing electric engines. During the first 20 years our enterprise was mainly based on our own designs and manufacturing. In the 60s, we started import of threaded bars, thus being pioneers in this field, which later was becoming very large. We have developed towards an own manufacturing of such threaded products, and today we can supply all types of threaded details.

In the late 60s we received the general agency for diesel heaters which can be used for different ways of heating, especially where, electricity is missing or is unpredictable. This has led to our own manufacturing, and we have developed diesel-driven heaters for the heating of tents and other special accommodations for the Swedish Defence Force. Our heaters are now approved by Swedish standards also for civilian purposes, so yachts, detached houses, working sheds, warehouses, cottages, caravans, hunting-lodges, villas, greenhouses and similar accommodations can be heated by some of our heaters in various sizes and models.

Since many years back, we are general agents for the Papenmeier Company in Germany, which is one of the few manufactories of sight glasses with or without lighting. These glasses are used when one wants to scrutinise the processes in cookers, autoclaves, distilling plants and similar set-ups.
